Boston Nature Center

Boston Nature Center

For teachers: Mass Audubon's Boston Nature Center is offering a full menu of virtual field trips for teachers to choose for their classrooms. Each program is live with hands-on and minds-on learning experience for students. Teacher Naturalists will engage students' curiosity with live animal encounters, nature artifacts and science tools. Each program focuses on a nature topic as well as a science practice. Programs are one hour, for up to three classes at a time and are based on the Massachusetts State Curriculum Framework. Please contact Erin Kelly, Mass Audubon’s Boston Region Education Manager, for more information, ekelly@massaudubon.org.

For families: Mass Audubon invites all families to participate in activities outdoors close to their home: Outdoor Activities at Home. Or take a hike and visit one of Mass Audubon’s statewide sanctuaries: Mass Audubon including its Boston Nature Center where you can walk an all persons trail, play in the Nature Nook, or simply stroll past one of the most pristine cattail marshes in the City.
